Healthy Communities Annual Meeting & Lunch
Friday, January 13, 2012 - 11:30am to 1:30pm
Please join us at the Henry County Hospital on Friday, January 13th for our annual meeting and lunch - catered by the Henry County Hospital! We will be discussing the goings-on of Healthy Communities in 2011 and what we have coming up in 2012.
Cost of lunch is $10 per attendee.
Reservation or registration is requested by Friday, January 6th.
Event day registration is welcome upon availability of lunch.

MudMan Indiana is a way for people to getaway from the everyday norm and try something new. The 5k course is full of mud and obstacles and will have you going through a S.W.A.T. Team training course and other obstacles testing your physical and mental toughness. Think you can handle it?

4th Annual Treading for Trails 5k Run/Walk

Treading for Trails has moved to May!
Didn't begin training soon enough for the Indy mini? Registered too late and the field was full? No worries!
Join us for our 4th Annual Treading for Trails 5k Run/Walk now held in May! This funding run/walk held on the beautiful National Road Heritage Trail in Henry County is a great opportunity to get outside and get on the move after a long Indiana winter. Open to participants of all ages and of all skill levels, this event is sure to be a Saturday morning well spent!
Runners and walkers will begin at staggered times with runners beginning at 9:00am and walkers starting at 9:03am. Event registration and check-in begin at 8am at the South Henry Regional Waste District office in Lewisville, IN (the NRHT Lewisville trailhead). Water and snacks will be available to all participants immediately before and after the event. For more information or to register for this event, please contact the Healthy Communities office anytime!

Bike to Work Month, Week, Day
May - May 14th through 18th - May 18th
Join us in celebrating National Bike to Work month, week and day in Henry County! Simply pull your old set of wheels out of that garage/shed, dust her off and head to work, the store, anywhere!

2nd Annual Summit Lake Optimist Triathlon & Walk/Run

Come out to the second annual Summit Lake Triathlon & Walk/Run, put on by Muncie Multi-Sport and sponsored by Henry County Hospital. This event, part of the Triton Brewery Indiana Triathlon Series, is a great opportunity to get out and get active! 12th Annual Raintree Ride

Come along for the ride on our 12th Annual Raintree Ride!
This annual funding ride features a 6-, 30- and 62- mile scenic bicycle ride through Henry County and offers opportunities to see the beautiful Westwood Park and historic Knightstown Gym - among other sites! Participants of all ages and skill levels are welcome and encouraged to ride. The event begins at 9:00am with staggered start times for the 6-, 30-, and 62- mile riders. Homemade snacks - think sandwiches, trail mix and cookies! - and water will be offered at stops along the routes and also at the end of the ride. A complimentary long-sleeved t-shirt will be given to all participants who register by the pre-registration deadline, and ALL participants will receive a complimentary goody bag for supporting us!
